Field Support Technician (IT)

Description

Based in Sydney, this exciting new role involves visiting our customers and providing on-site support to a diverse range of businesses. Each day in this role presents new challenges, allowing you to learn and grow professionally.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offering on-site support to customers throughout Sydney
  • Providing desktop, server, and application support within Exchange, Microsoft AD, and O365 environments
  • Participating in project teams to find solutions for our clients
  • Assisting with the installation and configuration of servers, networking equipment, and other IT hardware
  • Involvement in account management, VOIP, technical pre-sales, and other areas

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Knowledge of desktop support and Active Directory
  • Familiarity with Windows Server and Exchange, as well as general networking skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of technical infrastructure, from desktop to firewall, backup systems, and software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional phone manner
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management abilities
  • Prior experience working with an IT outsourcing or service provider (desirable)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (mandatory)
